So I finally got Pokemon Y.
Holy shit this game is so mediocre. First of all it's easy as hell, even easier than past games (which is unbelievably easy). There are clerics pasted on every route and cave that heal your pokemon to full, which is a real insult and deprives me of any feeling of challenge or spooky feeling in any cave, which I disdain. Also there are no surprise rival battles, you are warned in advance every fucking time, which is extremely stupid. There is no feeling of danger or surprise ever, you always know when a mild threat is coming your way. In short, there is no mystery in this game and no sense of adventure because the game holds your hand and doesn't let you experience any danger whatsoever. Now I'm only about halfway through the game now so maybe it will improve, but I doubt it. At least I like the new pokemon designs. How does everyone else feel about this generation?
