Medicham seems to be a monster, but Mawile's resistances, Gengar's Shadow Tag, Kangaskhan utter strength, Charizard's Drought/Salamence outclassing, Blastoise's ultimate spinning, Venusaur's immortality and lel Blaziken mean no one even remembers Medicham exists.

Not him, but it's easiest to just look at, say, Azumarill's highest possible Attack stat at Lv 100 and multiply it by 2. That's when you realize that Huge/Pure power isn't Base Attack*2, because that would mean that Azumarill has base 100, when in reality it's stronger than Groudon who has base 150.

Huge power doubles the attack stat, not the base stat.

The ability takes effect after all calculations, doubling EVs, IVs and the 5 starting points as well. This means that the actual value is 249.5 and not 200.

Base 100 doubled is not the same as base 200.

Huge Power doubles the actual stat, not the base stat.

Max EV/IV Mega Medicham has 328 attack. After Huger Power it's 656, which is the equivalent of base 250. For perspective, the highest a stat can actually go is base 255.

Speed isn't taken into account the turn you mega evolve. On turn 1 medicham would have 80 base speed.

Also, Blaziken is banned on showdown.

100 base speed isn't that high, psychic type is an absolutely terrible STAB that only hits Gengar (Who's already 1HKO'd by elemental punches) and Nidoking/Queen (Ice punch) for him, he lacks any sort of boosting move, and his coverage options are garbage.

He's decent enough as a slow-ish wallbreaker but he isn't very good or particularly versatile.
