I'm re-playing White in order to bring up my old FR team in preparation for the X/Y transfer in December.

Most likely picking up a 3DS within the next few weeks.

Also, would /vp/ suggest a basic 3DS or an XL?

XL. The battery life is nuts. Only butthurt early adapters will try and sway you toward the regular 3DS.

Also let's have a nice lil Gen 5 thread.

My favorite thing about Gen 5 is all the bug love (and new bug bros) it brought. I also think Hilbert and Hilda are very cute protags.

I don't have anything to play other than gen 3 ROMs. I'm still trying to decide if i should get the superior XL, or go cheap and get the Midnight Purple 3DS. I like purple better than blue, but that battery life and size almost make the price look worth it.
