the daycare needs an option to stop level ups

I'm tired of withdrawing pokemon just so they don't lose their egg moves that I want to pass down, or any move for that matter

You can get the move relearner to relearn egg moves if you need to. And parents keep passing down egg moves as long as they're in the daycare so there is never any need to withdraw them before they get overwritten, whats the issue?

As long as you're okay with not using that pair anymore, they'll continue to pass the desired moves down as long as they're not taken out.

And if you're IV breeding, that's usually the case: you're breeding for better ones to breed better ones, so you don't need that last pair.

It's just a hassle to deal with at all.

The Pokewalker for HG/SS allowed for level-ups, but didn't apply new moves. Could this be applied to the Daycare so people can breed/level without needing to worry about a changed moveset?

The fuck? Why would you ever do this? I've bred like 15 mons with perfect IVs now, with egg moves and there is literally no reason you ever need to ensure the egg move doesn't get overwritten because the parent will keep passing it down as long as it's in the daycare, doesn't matter if it goes from level 1 to 100. It's only once you remove it that the move gets overwritten and thats no an issue wither since you just keep replacing and discarding parents anyway.

Once you remove the mon from the daycare you should be finished with it. Release it or wonder trade it or whatever, you have it's children with superior IVs AND the egg moves, right?

Egg moves are locked in until you withdraw the pokemon no matter how many time you leveled up. So the only possible way you'd need a heart scale is if you fucked up and removed your mons from daycare before you had new higher iv ones to replace them with.

Wait is this real? I've always thought the moves were overwritten as the pokemon leveled up, as in it would pass on the egg moves as long as it still had them then it would stop passing them on as soon as it was overwritten by the Day-Care Couple

No, the egg moves are locked when you place the Pokemon into daycare. Moves don't get replaced until you pull the Pokemon out, so as long as they had them when you put them in there they will pass down the moves forever, as long as you don't remove them.
