Are you letting your opponent get to +6 attack or some shit? Because it's rare that Sucker punch will OHKO ANYTHING other than frail pokemon or ghost/psychic types outside of a crit.

Stop building teams that have the average sturdiness of a Ninjask.

Cloyster is a Water/Ice type (e.g. neutral effectiveness) with hilariously low special defense. As long as the move in question wasn't Flare Blitz and came from something with halfway decent special attack, I'm not too surprised.

252HP/0Def Aegislash (blade): ~150% damage (OHKO)

252HP/0Def Klefki: ~25% damage

So basically, if you're going to run frail things that are dark-weak, run things that resist as well. Which is, y'know, incredibly basic team-building?

Well, if you use a status move, Sucker Punch fails. That's it. It's actually really simple. Besides, 80 BP isn't all that strong; anything with decent physical bulk should be able to not die like a little bitch to a Sucker Punch that isn't coming from a +2/4/6 Mega Mawile or Mega Kangaskhan. Which should never be allowed to happen unless you want to lose/have an Unaware Pokemon like Quagsire (ew).
