I really don't understand this. Alakazam has an IQ of over 5,000. It can understand human languages. The Ralts line is capable of Telepathy and Gardevoir doesn't feel the pull of gravity because its mind levitates it without even thinking about the fact of the matter. It uses the power of levitation without even THINKING about it. Slowking can understand and speak the human language like it's no big deal. Mewtwo is... well, it's Mewtwo! What other Pokemon devised and nearly executed a plot to wipe out humanity and replace all Pokemon with cloned, genetically superior ones? And if we're not using movie/anime references, it's still stated multiple times that it's the ultimate Pokemon with unheard of Psychic abilities. These are just a few examples.
HOW can Pokemon with such powerful minds still become confused? The Psychic type got a huge nerf in Gen II and never really recovered. If Electric and Grass type Pokemon wouldn't have gotten the boost they received in regards to status ailments and immunity to powder moves, then I wouldn't have suggested this, but it seem ridiculous that GF is starting to add those kinds of immunities and Psychic-types can still get confused.
