Basically adamant works on pretty much anything that's a physical sweeper, but naughty is a good fit for cloyster since his sp. def is already way low, so he doesn't lose much, and it preserves his sp. atk so this way he can get the most of the two boosts he gets in sp. atk as well from shell smash. The bulk of cloyster will be physical moves and his speed, but if your opponent tries to counter with a physical wall you'll have hydro pump or surf to fall back on if you don't want to switch out. I prefer to use the sp. atk move slot for surf because it has more reliability with the 100% accuracy, and you get more damage out of surf or hydro pump then you would if it was an adamant nature cloyster.
