honestly the only reason to even have KS on a SD set is if he's your last Pokemon and you absolutely need Shield Forme, he changes formes when you switch out.

Just because you beat some scrub on Wifi random that probably didn't invest all EV's in Defense and/or was just horrible at the game doesn't make it a magical counter. All can do is safe-switch into Shadow Sneak, which if your opponent knows you're running Kanga is equally easy to predict.

Aegislash is a failed experiment in giving pokemon a practical way to change stances in combat. The whole concept just doesnt work. Before we had shitty or unusable gimmicks like darmanitan and meloetta... but now we got aegislash which is op as shit.

And like I said, Gamefreak tries to balance it, but fails. Also, they tend to tier the Pokemon. Once again, Legends are (supposed to be) broken as fuck, pseudo legends are supposed to be extremely powerful, early game bugs/rodents are supposed to be shit...

There is a balancing method to the madness

Also, Avalugg is just an unfortunate victim of Gamefreak thinking Ice types need more defense to balance out all their weaknesses
