I count on disconnects if I OHKO or kill any legendary (especially Mewtwo), m-Khanga, Charizards, or either of the fast flaming chickens.
Yesterday for a laugh, I ran a Lightball Pikachu in 3v3 that knew Dig, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt and Agility alongside my Goodra and M-Mawile against a guy who was using Pangoro and Charizard-Y (and an unknown third). I led Pikachu against his Pangoro, and proceeded to use dig while his Hammer arm missed. So, he gets the brilliant idea to switch to Charizard for some reason to avoid dig. Shouldn't matter, right? Pikachu is as good as dead in any scenario. Next turn he uses flamethrower-- I expected poor pikachu to burn to a crisp, but to my surprise It survives with a 1 hp and a fatal burn. Down comes thunderbolt, wrecking his Charizard. Pikachu succumbs to his 3rd degree burns a moment later, and the opponent then disconnects.
RIP in piece, Pikabro, for helping me enrage some ten-year-old in Britain. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
