Why do you think instacheck makes or breaks this generation? I honestly have no opinion on this so id like to see what you guys think. I read up on it a little, but not enough to argue a point.

it takes time to get a good IV shiny without using instacheck to cheat, so now all the pokemon we've spent a lot of time to get can now be obtained in minutes and they'll be all over the place bringing down their rarity

My friend has been getting these kind of shinies fairly fast, it's still way faster than masuda method. Once more people catch on and the list becomes huge, it will be extremely fast and the game will be flooded with shiny pokemon.

How does this shit even work? You show it an egg, you see if it's shiny or not, then you have to trade it to a friend or something? They hatch it and give it back?

Seems dumb, why would this be any faster than just luck? You have to get the shiny egg anyway.

Your friend's.It matches your egg's shiny ID with whoever has that compatible ID, and you have to hope he's friendly enough to help you out. you give him the egg, he hatches and trades you back. That's how that works i beileve.

All pokemon have a "Shiny ID" and if it hatches in the possession of a trainer with a matching "Trainer Shiny ID" it will be shiny for sure. Instacheck lets you see those values which are otherwise hidden. If the numbers don't match, the odds of shiny are the usual odds.

There's like 4000 possible Shiny IDs you can get, if a Pokemon matches your Trainer Shiny ID then you have a shiny. It's 1/4000 odds that way.

Dunno man, I mean, I would be happy as fuck if somehow I had a shiny Chandelure, but this feels odd, not Pokegen levels of shit, but still odd. You still need to breed and check and shit anyway, but I just don't know. I'm gonna keep playing my game normally I guess. Not mad against Intachekers anyway, they have fun with that, I just preffer to be outside of it.
Maybe if someday I want to have it without the need of hatch 5000 eggs.

The Pentagon will only exclude transfered pokemon from entering the first couple of tournaments . it's been that way for two games, in don't know why you don't get it?
Remember how there was a Unova pokemon only tournament soon after the games were launched? Also, Pokemon B2W2 exclusive tournament. There even was a Kanto only tournament!
So, that's it. Nothing is going to stop you from using your long owned critters.

What my OCD really wants is that every region has its own symbol... Maybe a triangle for Kanto, a Circle for Hoenn and so on.
