Then I switch to something that can take a Brave Bird from a shitty base 80 attack Pokemon and they are quickly forced out, and they will again take 50% of their health for switching in.

Talonflame is not the worst Pokemon ever, but in a year, at most it will be in lower OU. It will only get worse as Pokebank comes out, and Landorus-T and Heatran are available, as well as the Stealth Rock tutor.
