instacheck doesn't guarantee you a shiny and is more time consuming than your regular autist breeder method

you can hatch 1000 eggs and there is a chance your eggs won't match any of the other person's shiny values

In one box I got 3 5IV pokemon with the right Nature. MM takes way more then one box to get a shiny, and then you also have to hunt down a foreign pokemon for it too.

If I have good IV parents, I might need 5ish eggs to get one that has a proper IV spread. Now that one egg because of the fuck huge list of people's shiny values, means that just getting that one egg is similar to hatching a few hundred eggs. It might only take a few eggs to find a shiny value match. THAT'S why people do this.

I MM'd a Gastly a couple of weeks ago and it took like, 3 hours AFTER I started with a perfect IV Gastly. After that I worked on a Flabebe that took literally weeks. When I finally hatched one it only had 2 perfect IVs so now I'm back to the grindstone.
