Why are there no Pokémon based on guns? The only thing remotely close is Clawlitzer, and even then, it's only an obscure reference.
>Stage 1:
Ninim (pronounced "knee nim", a reference to 9mm guns) [Type: Steel]
>Stage 2: Deagle (pronounced like "beagle", a reference to the Desert Eagle gun) [Type: Steel/Dark]
Their movepool would focus around moves such as Explosion, Stockpile, Flash, Body Slam (for the recoil), and Flamethrower. Primarily, they would have high attack and moderate speed and HP, but beware! Their special stats are lacking.
Other interesting concepts: bombs, rifles, muskets, katanas (to balance out Honedge), poison based weapon Pokémon, and a machine gun.
There, I just made Pokémon popular in the deep south.
