Ok, so Banette can have Thief and Frisk, making him the perfect item finding/stealing Pokemon.

If you're talking in game--quickly catch a butterfree (compound eyes increases wild item hold rates by a lot if the pokemon with it leads the party) and teach it thief. Frisk is totally pointless and timeconsuming when you can just spam thief.

Compound Eyes now increases accuracy by 30%.

Also, I currently have my Pidgeot doing the thief on everything. I just wanna see if I can get the item or skip it, but that's why I'm asking if this is worth it or not.

Myself, I currently have my Gothitelle doing the same thing, since she learns both as well. Also, do >>16131050 but faint the butterfree. Even if it's fainted, if it's still in the first slot, the item boost from Compound Eyes still applies.

For Luvdisks, neither. Get something with Sticky Hold so that there will always be a bite on the Old Rod, and keep it fainted like I said with the butterfree.

It's always done that and it's also always increased the percentage of finding a pokemon with a hold item.

Leading with a fainted compound eyes butter free and frisk / thief pokemon in the second slot is the quickest way to get items from wild pokemon.

Just stick with butterfree. It's quicker.
