I mean, it's not like the Pichu was ever mentioned outside of its event. There's a plot-based justification for AZ's Floette to surpass the limits of an ordinary Floette, and achieve the power of a legend.

That's why I began by listing types that are amazing in standard scenarios, as that's what's going to be readily on hand in the event of a Diancie Inversion. If we're using moves and Pokemon intended for use in an Inverse setting, Diancie will still have trouble because it would be weak to Normal, the GOAT type when inverted. Since Normal moves aren't that good in standard play, I made sure to only mention the viable ones, but they could still cause problems, as could a Bug weakness.
