People have to right to criticize things regardless of their own skill level at all. Bad food is bad food, no matter the skill level of the person eating it. Imagine if someone went to a restaurant and ate pasta that tasted like shit, and complained to the chef that it tasted bad. That chef then replies that since they are less skilled at cooking than him, they don't have the right to complain. Wouldn't that be a bullshit situation?
Do take note, most critics are nowhere near as good as the people they criticize, yet they can still criticize flaws and rightfully so. You know why? Because being good at something and understanding what makes something good or bad aren't the same thing.
