Yeah probably. Shadow Tag + Perish Song/Destiny Bond + raw power and speed of attacks guarantees something dies and a skilled player can get two kills. But you could say that about a lot of pokemon at this point so it is a matter of what is the first domino to fall.

I dunno. Aside from the obvious differences between 3v3 and 6v6, playing on Battle Spot is a lot like playing on Showdown. All the stuff Smogon claims would centralize and dominate the meta if it weren't banned doesn't really show up too often, and I don't find it especially hard to deal with when it does..

The only reason that M-Gengar is "balanced" at the momenty is because shit battlers can't use it right.

They always think it's the same as regular Gengar but faster and use it like regular Gengar. It's not. It's a trapper that's guaranteed to take out something or even two or three Pokemon that counter your main sweeper like Salamence, letting it sweep for free thereafter. You have to use Shadow Tag to your greatest advantage with killer support moves like Taunt, Will-o'-Wisp, DESTINY BOND, and so on. Only THEN is it broken, and holy shit is it broken then.

3v3 is shit though. Nothing but hyperoffence. And I see Mega-Chicken and Mega-Bitch all the bloody time. At least in 6v6 you can use pivots, and not let the game devolve into "OHKO everything as fast as you can".

Wobbuffet doesn't have 170 SAtk and 130 Spe, just saying. It can't Destiny Bond fast enough to take down a second mon. It can't Sub or Taunt walls either. Also it can't Perish Song, but that's just for the next two months

Eventually Gengar faints. Is Rotom-W just a good, hard counter to M-Gengar or something? He doesn't even have but like two IV's.

Shadow Trap doesn't activate the turn in Mega-Evolves, though, right? So you get one switch before it traps you. I can see how it always guarantees at least one kill, but I don't see how it's guaranteed two.

You only get one shot at switching your counter in before it mega evolves and even you predict it correctly you're not going to do anything but force Gengar to switch into something that counters your counter since Shadow Tag will prevent a double switch.

Blaziken's pretty good, man. Like really good. Like amazing offensive typing, and an incredibly diverse moveset. Sure, he's held back by his speed, but he can force a switch and with speed boost, he is fucking ridiculous. Still, if you had something like a rocky helmet sturdy onix with sneakypebbles you can basically shut him out and revengesweep while neutering the chicken by bringing in Talonflame after the KO.

It can't sweep everything.

But it makes it painful easy for any sweeper to come in sweep the opponent's team because Gengar can easily be tailored to remove any of your sweepers checks and counters

Nothing is stopping the Moxiemence rape train once Gengar has eliminated it's threats

If it uses perish song on the switch, and lord knows Gengar can easily force a switch, it can take the gamble and just use protect twice before switching out. This means that no matter what you switch into it, regardless of its stats and moveset it can dispose of it by getting lucky.
