I hate to be that guy, but the rest of the starters desperately need Megas. I realize they're bound to get them eventually, but it seems that GF might go the selective route for now and just give them to the Kanto starters and the highly popular Blaziken for Gen VI. And that's seriously fucked up.

I wanted pinsir to get a regular evo dammit. I mean syther got Scizor so why the fuck shouldn't he get his own Steel/Bug evo so he could be OU like I always wished he would be. The real problem is that the strongest physical move is icicle crash at 85 BP, and the strongest physical dark is Crunch at a pathetic 80 BP (Foul Play is 95 but it isn't really a normal attack)

Still though, I rather give some shittier pokemon attention because I think that Wevile is still pretty great. Despite low BP moves and a crippling weakness to Mach punch and stealth rock. I'm glad that for the first time ever farfetch'd might actually be viable in NU, now that it has 100% crit chance with moves like slash and night slash. Even though the crits do less 50% extra power is worth it dammit.

But really, magcargo is the most deserving gen 2 pokémon. It's likeable with an interesting typing but one that gives it too many weaknesses. It's not clear what direction a full-fledged evo would take, but a mega that made it usable would be neat.

I'd say dragon would be a good fit for an added typing with mega considering how draconic Shisa are. The main issue is that the only dragon move it gets by level up right now (from growlithe) is outrage, and dragon pulse from gen 5 move tutor, but Blastoise got its moveset buffed for its Mega so Arcanine certainly could as well.

Don't know if this is dumb or smart, but I had a thought a while back for a future thing.

Basically, there's a "Mega Stone", "Eevite", an Eevee mega stone. Thing is, it doesn't mega evolve eevee.

So the prof gives it to his "assistant", the protagonist, and said protagonist (That's you) stick it on an eevee. After a while, you maybe forget about the mega stone.

Then you evolve your eevee.

This triggers a reaction in the 'malfunctioning' mega stone, turning it into a mega stone corresponding to the Eeveelution you pump out.

Among the first few things I thought of included making Flareon more viable, so...

Mega Hydreigon should have three "main" heads, up from its standard one. It should have an Ability that multiplies damage by 1.2 (10% increase for each new head), and delivers damage in three separate chunks. So for example if it uses a 85BP Dragon Pulse, it is like using a multi-hit move with ~29 BP that hits three times. Each hit would function as its own attack, with its own damage roll and own crit chance.

Although gimmicky, Beat Up with a full healthy party has a BP total of 102, and hits 6 times with each hit having individual crit chances.

And contrary to what it says online, it is boosted by things like Swords Dance because it works for me in White.

The new Knock Off is great for Weavile, giving him a strong reliable stab move with Icicle Crash.

Also, if Technician and Beat Up were a thing..say hello to a 230 BP move.

There is now some event where Reshiram/Zekrom makes a copy of his White/Black Stone and it turns into Reshiramite or Zekromite. Maybe it happens by the compass.

Reshiramite gives Resh a Mega and Zekromite gives Zeke a Mega.

Reshiramite also gives Kyurem-Black a Mega and Zekromite also Gives Kyurem-White a Mega.

Both Mega Kyurems are similar or identical to the original dragon, and have 125/180/105/180/105/105. He's monotype Dragon means he loses his Ice stab and Ice neutrality. MKB gets Conflagrate which makes Normal moves Fire with a 30% boost, and MKW gets Generate which makes Normal moves Electric with a 30% boost. The main focus points are Return and Hyper Voice obviously.

Keep in mind you can't just give the base forms moves which don't make sense. Giving Mega Pinsir Aerialate worked perfectly since they weren't able to give him Fly or anything like that, because he has to be able to use it in his base form. Ampharos got Dragon Pulse because I guess it wasn't that much of a stretch (after all, his lack of dragon is not a vital point to his base design) and they gave him the useless Mold Breaker instead.

I've always hoped Mr. Mime would get a regular or mega evolution that makes him a magician, maybe Psychic/Dark. I even thought up an ability called Curtain Call that makes switching him out occur last in the turn order which would be good for protecting incomers or other fun shit.

I've been asking for this for ever.

And if I'm not mistaken, I did some quick math:

Feint Attack, 60 bp

With technician, it'd be 90

With STAB bonus, it'd be 135 bp

That with an insane attack would wreck shit left and right.

Pursuit would also be a good choice 40 to 60 to 90 to 180 if your opponent is switching out. If I did that right And then Ice Shard, Ariel Ace, and Low Kick if it wasn't upped to 65 BP.
