ITT: Pokemon you absolutely adore but never really use as much as you feel you should.

I try and use any Pokemon I like, but I wish I could use Gigalith more.
I do use it for funsies, but its never a serious member of my team because Gigalith kinda sucks. It has no niche, so many rocks do the same thing but better.
Gigalith should have been a special attacker. Then he'd have a niche and look awesome doing it.

Yeah man, I love Gigalith too. I had one back in B2 that I trained up for the battle facilties, and it worked out pretty well for me. HP/Atk/Def, Surreptitious Sand/Rock Blast/EQ/Explosion@Normal Gem... Worked out pretty well, indeed.

But I agree with you, Gigalith would have been really cool if it was a special attacker instead.

This guy. I love his design, his typing isn't half bad imo, and he has a pretty decent movepool, to boot. And I've yet to seriously train one up for reasons I can't come up with right now.

I really should though, especially once I saw its model in XY.

Also Absol used to be a bad case of being far too late to be worth using, until X where I finally used one in my main ingame team, what a bro.

There are also a lot of 5th gen Pokemon that are consistently extremely late, like Deino (still used this postgame anyway), Druddigon, and Durant (luckily I ended up with one in a Nuzlocke).

Drapion is the worst for me though, I love the design (ever since revealed, infact), but it's evolution level is late, it's in the slow exp group, learns fairly meh moves through the levels, and Skorupi in general is usually far too late in every game, except for DPPt where I never seem to have room for it.

Was my first favorite. He's not that good, ground only, mediocre stats, slow, but he always found his way on my teams in early gens.

It's either really late in the game or not available in general. Ice flying is also such a shitty type in the game. Fire, Elec and hidden pebbles are everywhere. At least it was awesome in Pokemon Conquest.
