Have we decided on a type for the prawn/prawn at barbecue yet? It could be an interesting rock or bug (or water, but we have quite a few already)... maybe it evolves with a fire stone, and the fire stone itself turns into a part of it? If we're looking to have the shrimp roasting on top of something, the fire stone or something made from the colors of it could work. Or it could be more like Slowbro's "Shellder" tail that becomes a part of it. Not that it needs a separate Pokemon, but that the "inanimate" part could be a creature attached to the shrimp in some way?

i wanna try to get some ideas for legendarys down. Working on that Death Worm creature. I will repost the scribble i already posted int he old thread. it could be a rare pokemon like Heatran Latias/Latios or something. Still very basic i will try and add some electric coils or that kind of stuff cause some storys attribute this creature the ability to deal electric shocks. Question to the experts here. Is there a description on how the rainbow snake and that bird supposedly look ?

Once I set up my tablet I'm going to start throwing some ideas in the dropbox. How do yall feel about: Dark/Water Bunyip inspired pokemon. 1 Evolution (Think an emaciated bear with glowing eyes and long scraggly hair) Fighting/Dragon legendary inspired by Mangar-kunjer-kunja (creator of humans) (looks like lizard man from SC, holds two wooden swords, possible ornate aboriginal wooden mantle, sits cross legged). Dark/Fairy creature with 2 evolutions. based on the blood sucking Yara-ma-yha-who. (first stage is a short stout biped with stubby arms and legs, no head, and a large mouth on its body, no eyes. Second stage, similar design, but bigger, more muscular, eyes on its palms) <this one might be a bit too creepy for pokemon though...

It is called Spidheel.
I imagine that Spidheel haunts peopel's dream (dreamtime) and tries to eat their minds. Jumproo travels around the region and guards people from Spidheel. The wheel element of Spidheel represnts rebirth while Jumproo shows nuture with his pouch. I will do a third one that is the leader fo the twwo rivals (imagine Groudon and Kyogre with a Rayquaza as well).
They could be the main legends or a side story. It is up to everoyne.

EVIL TEAM IDEA: Team Hades. This team wants to kill everyone because they think everyone is more evil than them. The leader is actually a monk that worships Scordeath and is trying to help the legendary gain power. They start a festival at Uluru but it's really a plot to awaken a legendary that kills people. The player must travel their and stop them killing people but then the Monk wants to face him in a Pokemon battle. He is beaten and realises he was motviated by evil not good so he decides to become a different monk for the good legend. The player's rival joins the Evil Team and becomes the new villain until the palyer stops them for good when they attack the Great Barrier Reef. Thoughts? How can we improve this plot so that it makes sense better and is more fun? Also, the Opera House should be in the game and you should be able to have Pokemon Musicals there.

Though currently none are drawn out, I've thought of the possibility of a Fairy-type Pokemon based off of the Sydney Opera House. Maybe a Water/Fairy Siren-like Pokemon. I like the idea that was posted earlier, that the villain team is led by a mad scientist who thinks the only way to save the environment is to eliminate humanity by turning them all into Pokemon, and that the team may be planning on using the Rainbow Serpent Pokemon's powers to do this. To compensate, I was going to look into coding a GTS and a few other online features once the bulk of the game is mapped, scripted and we've solidified on which pokemon to have and have put them in. Final step if you will. (You know, a GTS except good, not that it'd be that hard to beat GF's one)
Right now I'm seeing the plan as:
1)Conceptualise (what we are doing)
2)Solidify (Making the hard choices, what to take and what not to)
3)Implement (Putting things into a playable state, this is mapping, pokemon and scripting.)
4)Tweaking (Correcting said mapping, pokemon and scripting until it's /perfect/)
5)Repeat (For new features that is, using what there is now as a base)
A pattern I'm seeing in this is a three aspect approach in; mapping, scripting and mechanics.
So. Maybe we need to re-arrange some things so that there are ""teams"" for these things. Keeping in mind mapping and scripting need to be in tight progression as they rely on each other.

There's too much focus on Australian native animals for new pokemon in the region but I think some thought needs to be given to pokemon that have synergy with certain parts of the region. All of the pokemon games involve this to some degree because the developers want to evoke the harmony between man and pokemon. So for instance a Steel/Ground pokemon specifically made for mining to be found in the Perth area of the region that the gym leader walks with.

Kinda looks like it belonged to the Kyoge Groudon Rayquaza cycle and someone stripped it of its markings.

The body shape and eyes are almost exactly like Hydranticus's, and the markings are very similar to Royjibiv's. I can't think of anything else other than Hydranticus when I look at that thing.

If I were to make the game, me personally, I would probably try something like the Reverse World, only with it bleeding into reality, causing new reactions and changes to the surrounding life. Perhaps rather than having a traditional evil team, I would have 'Dreampeople' who are lost in reality. causing general trouble.

thats how i would do it personally. So the theme would probably want to be...coexistance in this example.
of course, this can all just be bullshit and we can choose something totally different. Throw out suggestions, we can try and build off them and see what sticks you know?
