Yesterday I found four, the funny thing is that I found one, then the other in the next eight minutes, ssme thing happened in the night, found one, and the other one showed up at around 20 mins later. The Pokémon were two Spheals, a Lapras and a Braixen.

The gulpins were found in the same week, while EV training, and the wingull was found in the middle. It was like a week of disappointing shinies that couldn't be used.

Although the first one I found was a Furfrou before the second gym that I got to use in my playthrough so that one was cool.

In all the older generations i have only found 1 shiny, which was in Gold and was Sneasel, which is pink btw. That was after 200+ hours.

In Y, i found a shiny Pansage literally minutes into the game, in the first forest. I almost didn't realize that it was a shiny because it's just a lighter shade of green.

Despite the lack of post-game content, the easy IV breeding and the online stuff keeps me hooked. It took me over a year to put 160 hours on Black, slightly under a year to put 210 hours on Black 2, and just a month to put 250 on X.

I am interested to see whether the time is capped at 999:99like it used to be (in gen 3). I stopped playing after that, so I'm not sure if they ever changed that.

118 hours and three shiny Pokemon. Two of them were random encounters (Charmeleon and Sliggoo), and Joltik popped out while breeding (not masuda method or anything). I almost released the Joltik without realizing until I saw the star.

Found my shiny Sliggoo (now badass Hydration Goodra with mild nature) by pure chance within the second day (about 7 hours or so in) i had Pokemon X but since then ive had no luck with shinies and gave up on the Pokeradar chain method. now since the have Instacheck and have been trying to match SV not once have i seen my SV on any of the threads ive looked at.
