Why is it that this gen it is so easy to level up? Other games it was much harder, but getting a level 100 here legitly is super easy. Is there any reason why they did this?

It doesn't matter because the levels are reset to 50 anyway. Also, it was way easier to level up in Gen 5.

Gen 5's exp scaling made evolving Pokemon for your dex super easy. Gen 6 just reset it to shit.
