Let's fix types Ice>now resists grass and water (ice turns water into ice, unless its warm which requires heat anyway, and grass can't grow in snow or on ice) For the fire, water, grass triangle, whatever the type resists, it is now immune to (buffs all three, also it makes relative sense) Grass>No longer weak to flying (never understood this, never made sense to me for flying to be good against it) Water>Now weak to poison (water pollution) Fairy>Now weak to Psychic (you can outsmart a fairy, its in myths and stories) Dark>Now supereffective against Bug (Adds a dragon-like rivalry between the types, reason being that dark moves, like underhanded tactics like flyswatters kill bugs) Bug>Now resists fairy (bugs and fairies coexist in the woods anyway, makes sense for them to resist each other being as they have a symbiotic relationship) Fire>now weak to flying (When you blow hard enough on a fire it goes out)

>>16170740 >Fire >>now weak to flying >(When you blow hard enough on a fire it goes out) more like makes the flames get bigger. You can blow out a candle, you can't blow out an inferno, you just make it stronger.

Lightly blowing on a campfire gives it more life, but harshly blowing on it can put it out with enough force.

Grass is too weak to give it ANOTHER resisting opponent.

Do the "opposites" theme with Fairy and Dark, not Bug and Dark.

Guys. Guys. We don't have to worry about this anymore now that GF is recognizing that pokemon with shit types need stats to make up for it. See: Avalugg

>>16171687 I actually like grass, you're picking one thing out of the several changes I listed and claiming its indicative of the whole scheme
>grass now has one thing it can't damage and one new 1/2 damage >has a new resistance, an immunity, and a weakness lifted Also, bug takes 1/2 damage from fairy and 2x from dark, so its balanced

Ice now resists Flying, Dragon, and Ground. Poison is now super effective against Water. There, everything is fixed.

>>16171826 My reasoning was little but grasping at straws, but dark needs some kind of buff. Maybe instead of being good against bug, it could be good against fairy, so there's a rivalry between dark/fairy like another anon mentioned.

>>16171928 Three types resist it
Its weak to three types that most teams either carry or use exclusively
It's gotten shit all over every time they update the stat chart
And generally it's never by itself, so include the other type's weaknesses and you have usually one or more 4x weakness

It also has only 3 weaknesses and an immunity. One of those weaknesses is fucking bug.
This type is not fucking underpowered.
Fighting has only 3 resistances and there is a type that is immune to it.

Oh, but it does also have 3 resistances, so I guess that works.

Assuming ice types are not all at exactly 0 degrees C and most of them are well below that, and that water types are not all boiling hot, it makes some kind of sense.
