Make sure the foreign mon has the badge signifying such. I've seen nicknames in Japanese that were American, so just make sure.

The fastest way to hatch as many eggs in as short a time as possible follows. Note that if you want to wonder trade shit for miles or stockpile high IV bartering chips, this is not the way to go.

Make sure you ARE using this technique well. MM is not the best way to get shinies - it's the best way to get good shinies. Egg moves. IVs. Natures. Starting off, if your parents aren't great, start trading them out for the children, and make sure to keep the correct items equipped. Obviously don't trade out your foreign parent, unless you somehow get a new, better one.
