Snivy line bores the hell out of me, but it's okay.
Emboar is my favorite Fire starter, but Pignite is kind of silly looking.
Samurott is one of the best and most well thought out designs in the franchise, but the Pokémon in battle is pretty lackluster.
Overall, pretty great starters, third to IV and VI and equal to III.
If you're looking for worst starters, look no further than II's. Only decent one is Feraligatr, who is admittedly VERY decent.
