Story is meh but not terrible. Gameplay is fantastic, though, post game is some of the best the series has had.

It suffers a bit from gamefreak's tendancy to put in a cool feature and ruin it in some way, namely putting in a difficulty mode that's not available until after beating the game or through receiving it from someone who has beaten the game.

They basically just redid the graphics and added a few bells and whistles.

The only good thing about HGSS was how much of it could be controlled by the touch screen, and the perma-run button.

Well, no, it's basically just a prettier RBY that's actually playable.

BW2 are objectively superior in every aspect except for story. Postgame is the best in the entire series and it's a joy to reexplore the region.

HGSS are boring grindfests, seriously, and BW/2 have every advantage over them except for nostalgia.
