Except regular scizor can already do sd sweeper or bulky attacker, ans is likely better at it then mega scizor because of orb and leftovers.
Then there's shit like mega manectric which makes the one good set manectric could use impossible, or alakazam which trades the ability that makes it worth using for more attack that it had anyway with orb.

This is if you're running 252 hp 252+ def, ehich you should not.
The only thing Furfrou can do is Twave it and that's it. Cotton guard isn't gonna save you from her powerup punches.

though I do have to add that I'm talking about this considering there's an item clause, which might be the problem here. In my mind giving a bulky scizor leftovers or a lifeorb would be a waste because someone else could use it more.

Are you blind or something? Mega Kanga can 2HKO a completely defensive Furfrou, while Furfrou can 4shot it at best.
If you're running a completely defensive Furfrou, Mega kanga is going to outspeed you on the first turn and kill you on the second turn or third turn.
This is still assuming 252hp 252+def, which would leave you useless against special attackers and slower than most sweepers.

What if my team needs a bulky type with good coverage, because I lack defensive pokemon?
In my case for example, a MScizor fit perfectly into the team, because it provided some needed bulk and type coverage (+ my rainteam helped it taking less fire damage too)?

Off the top of me head I don't remember if Fur Coat halves the total damage or each attack from mega K or if it halves each attack from both it and the baby. Either way, I've yet to have problems with Khan or Blaz since I brought a Furfrou onto my team.
It's not a perfect counter for everything, of course. But I'm having success with it.

IIRC its only got 31 in its attack, def, and spec def.
It's jolly and so it does end up outspeeding things for often than I expect it to.
I dumped my EVs into HP and Def, with a bit in attack. And I'm currently using leftovers.
I'm sure that it's overall fairly bad, but hes shiny and does work so I'm happy with him.
I'm currently running T wave, return, cotton guard, and charm on him. But I'm not really sure what to replace charm with, as it seems redundant atm.
Every other furfrou I see is a special attacker. Which doesn't seem to work at all. I'm literally the only tankfru I've ever seen.

I'd suggest Snarl for its last slot. Lowers the opponent's special attack so you can wall it better and gives a somewhat reliable way to hit ghosts.
Although rest is nice too.

It's too bad Megas don't get their own dex entries. The height/weight change when you switch to the Mega model in the dex and the Pokemon website even has small descriptions for the Mega Evos like Aerodactyl's Mega supposedly being what it actually looked like in prehistoric times.
