>>16193252Nigga what? Tyranitar has always been so far ahead of Hippowdon, not even having more weaknesses than any other Pokemon in the game can hope to even them out. Tyranitar doesn't always need to hit first, it just needs to hit. As long as it's not facing a Physical Fighting-type attack, it will stick around long enough to shit mountain-mashing fury on whatever poor soul is unfortunate enough to get in its way. We're talking about a motherfucking Kaiju with more bulk than the motherfucking Great Wall of Ubers, Lugia
before it got Multiscale, anyway that straight-up EATS Life Orbed Focus Blasts like they're the nails that Tyranitar normally takes for breakfast. Not only that, but this nigga will fucking CHASE YOU DOWN, looking for MORE if you decide that you don't like those 51% odds of missing at least ONE of the TWO Focus Blasts you'll need to bring down this Paleozoic Behemoth. And that's before Game Freak cast down the Assault Vest Fairy to grant Tyranitar's secret wish of out-styling that fat bitch Blissey at the Special Wall Ball 2014.
Fuck, if Hippowdon got that obscene special balk in Sand, or if Tyranitar didn't have the ability to not actually care about any Special Attack that wasn't going to deal at least four times its listed power, you might have a point. If Tyranitar didn't have the ability to go Mixed, or a Mega Evolution that channels the power of the Secret of Evolution to become a Dragon-Dancing Manslayer, you might not be so wrong it hurts. But that's not how things are. Tyranitar is the line of power that marks what is OU and what is Uber. It is, and will forever be, the mightiest of those that can still be called mortal. It is both "Pseudo" by its myriad weaknesses, and "Legend" by its unfathomable strengths.
Tyranitar.
Fuck.
Yeah.
Also, Hydreigon is pretty cool, if you predict correctly and run the right moves Azumarill is the only thing that's a 100% counter.
Pity that it takes a 600+ BST to make a good Dark-type.
