So think the next gen designs will have a drastic change due to going back to simplistic designs? Maybe we will get 3 decent designed starters for once instead of 1

So they want to simplify everything for genwunners.

Problem is, genwunners will hate it anyways, because it's not part of the holy 151.
We'll be left with a bunch of overly simplistic pokemon no one likes.

Most genwunners just think that pokemon is just child's play, and no amount of convincing will ever change their view that pokemon is a franchise for children. Either that or they just got bored of the franchise.

Uh they just want to simplify designs what does that have to do with gen 1? Art styles always change from time to time anyways. Since it will be a new gen, not liking it makes you the same as the casuals who say the first 151 are the true pokemon.

A lot of people made mention that Pokémon from Gen VI were 'mascot-like' and 'anthro'. Basically a four-legged animal standing upright. Funny enough, Gen I was filled with those. Hell, Rhydon IS that to a T.
