Should collect data on evolution lines, not just first forms, especially because usually final forms end up being far more bro tier.

Example: My favorite starter line is Chimchar because I love Infernape, but I don't like Chimchar itself.

It's a shame, because Quilava is such a badass and unfortunately has to be a part of the same line as the other two.

My absolute favorite is Greninja, if anything because of my sole bias for frogs being my favorite animal.

Empoleon, Sceptile, and Venusaur are runner-ups too.

It's kind of sad, but the only starters I really don't like were all second gen starters.

Feraligatr was just barely passable.
Meganium is a poor man's Venusaur/
Typhlosion is the most uncreative and most bland starter I've ever seen.

Meganium is defensive and serves an even greater role as a support. If you look at the big picture of things, Cyndaquil's just as frivolous and outclassed (if not more) and Charmander lives for the Mega Evo with Rapid Spin co.

Of course it's gonna be shitty against a gym where every member is poison type. But Chikorita family's strengths lie in being a damage sponge and supporting the team. So if you're using it as a sweeper that's a little silly even ingame, inless you like grinding.

How can you say that when Charizard exists? He's nothing but a fire-breathing dragon.
