I use one pretty successfully in OU. If the opponent uses a status move, I encore and switch to a different Pokemon for a free stat boost.
If it uses an attacking move, I encore and as long as it doesn't take away more than half Wobb's health, I use the appropriate move against them.
If Wobb's about to die, then I click dat Destiny Bond and take the opponent with me.
If it uses Taunt, ohh my god I am so fucked. Just kidding, I switch out, it's no big deal.
