Yeah he's not the flashiest or bestest mega but dang does he output damage like a champ. and I love the design.

I'm with you on that one. It might be the only Mega where the Mega Evolution is a MASSIVE improvement design-wise.

Mega Mawile is stronger and speed doesn't apply nearly as much when regular Medicham can hold a choice scarf and actually outspeed things instead of tying with base 100s and praying to god it outspeeds. Azumarill is bulkier with a better defensive typing.

For the most part it's relatively outclassed in every way. I can see why it isn't mentioned much. It's a bit sad too, I liked the ribbony design.

Fake Out is great utility. Zen Headbutt works well as a secondary STAB. Electric gives you psuedo-boltbeam and gives you neutral coverage on everything but Shedinja

Psychic STAB is pretty decent on Medicham, especially paired with fighting. You hit everything but Steels and Darks, and those are both weak to Fighting.

I've been using this to pretty good effect in rated battles.
Substitute, Psycho Cut, HJK, and Fire Punch.
If you manage to get the sub up it's basically over.

Design is quite decent - though I like regular Medicham more, design-wise.

As for ability, it was quite necessary - given how it had to compete with Gallade. It is a shame that GF has no sense of perspective and moderation regarding little things and we have now an opposite situation: now Medicham is tip-top and nobody uses Gallade anymore, save for safari catches.

So it isn't completely useless in doubles since prioriderp is even more necessary in doubles
It'd still hard to justify using it over any better mega or regular Pokemon
