your pokedex shows the last form of the pokemon you saw, so if you were seeing a female wobbufet, it'd show the female wobbufet on the description.

this also works for mega pokemon, shiny pokemon, and mega shiny pokemon.

If you looked at the Mega form of a pokemon last in the dex, the Mega Evolution icon remains the icon for that Pokemon until you switch it back.
