If we get Hoenn remakes, there's a chance it could be pretty good. I went into X and Y as blind as possible, and I thought it was great fun until after I beat the league and realised that there's pretty much no post-game and no side games like contests. Really, if X and Y had a battle frontier and a better post-game than the looker crap, for me it would have easily been the best games yet.
As it is now, it's still up there pretty high for me for other reasons, but certainly not on top.
