clemont is afraid of revealing to ash that he is the gym leader of lumiose because heliolisk doesnt listen to him much like iris excadrill/ash charizard.

For the record, that art style looks like Akihiro Tamagawa's. AKA. the guy who only ever does 3 or 4 episodes per series and usually results in god tier animation and an excess of funny faces.

It's actually a two-parter

The first episode is when they get back to Lumiose City and have to fight Citroid with the help of Clemont's dad

The second episode is when Clemont catches Chespin and Team Rocket kidnap Sycamore, Bonnie, and Serena and create their own Mega Meowth to which Ash and Clemont have to defeat ith the help of Clemont's dad and the Masked Blaziken
