Trying to MM a Shiny Eevee as a gift for my gf, more and less how many eggs does it take?
Is it faster than hunting one in the safary?

You really can't tell if you'll get lucky or not; I've managed to hatch a shiny Goomy within 1 box of starting to breed, but I've been MMing a Froakie for 7 boxes now with nothing.

It's generally more reliable than the safari because you have less chance of getting a shiny not Eevee

Unless that hacks me a shiny (and it won't), how does that help?
In the end it's the same if I hatch the eggs myself so it's redundant.

How does that work?
I send my eggs to somebody or something?

Figure out your Shiny Value (ask a fag in thread), search for pokes with your Shiny Value in thread. Most people will give them to you. Then the egg you will hatch will be shiny.

It works by monitoring the wifi traffic your DS sends to check the details of your pokemon and eggs.
It cannot alter your game or pokes in any way shape or form, it just tells you what they are.
If you get an egg that matches someone else's SV (shiny value) you can trade it to them, have them hatch it for you and have your shiny.

If you can find someone and they're not a cockweasel and you don't mind not being the OT on the pokemon, yeah. Though I assume since it's a gift for a gf, I'd assume you'd want to be OT.

Sure. For what it's worth, I'm mming for the eevee set, I've got one at 527 eggs and one at 805 eggs. Just got to be persistant, it'll happen eventually. She'll probably appreciate the effort you went through more anyhow

Tried it for like 8 boxes and gave up, went to the safari took me three hours but I got that eevee and evolved into the glorious blue/black umbreon!
