That'd be like if they made a movie about Hollywood making the movie Fight Club to turn anti-corporate sentiment into a mass product but then the actor they cast as Tyler Durden used his celebrity from the movie to actually raise an army that blew up the Sears Tower.
If anything, Hunger Games was a brilliant premise with a pitiful execution, in that the movies themselves seem more focused on the spectacle itself than the narrative it's a part of. Like, ironically, Fight Club.
