On the Talonflame remarks, i'm trying to figure out if he would make a good pick for my 3v3 team. So far: Cloyster - Skill Link - Life Orb - Shell Smash - Icicle Spear - Rock Blast - Razor Shell Gengar - Levitate - Gengarite - Sludge Bomb - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast - Destiny Bond I mostly just want to wreck the Maison and whatnot, and I think he might be a good pick.

Might i suggest swapping out the life orb on cloyster for the White herb i believe it is? (whatever item makes you ignore negative effects from status moves) and then give the Orb to your Talonflame. With priority roost, you'll have no problem getting back the HP from all the recoil, and the extra power will be worth it.

>>16241800 Ooh, that does sound rather nice. The damage boost on Cloyster was a bit overkill - I ran King's Rock for a while because the 5x hit wit ha chance to flinch was wrecking poor bastards on free battle, and avoiding status issues sounds rather nice.

You want fire punch for aegislash, it outright 2HKOs the thing, and you can survive a shadow sneak. If you dont pack fire punch it switches in with impunity. With fire punch aegislash might end up running for its life.

>>16242564 This is true, but again, is this really necessary? Why not switch out to something else? Megacham is a wallbreaker, it doesn't need to counter everything in existence. I find it's best used late game to clean up.
Try using Gliscor on your team, it counters Talonflame, Blaziken and Aegislash. Talonflame dies to acrobatics, as does Blaziken. Aegislash gets Taunted and EQ'd to death.
In my experience, Gliscor makes a good switch out from Megacham in 90% of situations.

swords dance aegislash is hilariously non threatening because antying with decent physical bulk can live a +6 shadow sneak. What do you plan to do to gliscor? Hit it for 30-40% with shadow sneak then keel over to earthquake?
Swords dance Aegislash is AWFUL. If you're using a weakness policy non boosting set, thats even less threatening because if it gets forced out, and it will because it is slow, then its item is gone forever. There is nothing scary about a +2 aegislash to a competent team.
