Hey guys, I'm sure you already know this but they finally posted up the VGC rules for 2014.

It states:
Pokémon used in the Standard Format must be native to the Kalos region in Pokémon X or Pokémon Y . A native Pokémon is a Pokémon that is hatched or caught in Pokémon X or Pokémon Y.
So does that mean Volcarona is banned since she's not from the kalos region? Thing is, she can be caught and hatched in the game though. Shit confuses me! Also, sucks to hear that you cant play pokemon that have been transferred from bank/transporter
