>>16241703The game's easy enough that you can get through it with mostly whatever you want, like mainline Pokemon. There's only a few that are awful, like Luxray and Ampharos, because some moves suck. Other than Ginchiyo and her Luxray, it's hard to go wrong with Warlords and their favored Pokemon.
I picked Vaporeon and it served me very well.
