If I have a Gardevoir in my party, is it convenient to have a Starmie too? (I'm against repeating types but Starmie is just so good)

Gardevoir is my Fast Special Attacker, I was thinking for Starmie to be my main water pokemon.

Seems pretty redundant to have two special attackers of the same type. You could always turn Starmie into a spinblocker, if you want it to stand out.

Thats good since Blastoise also fills the roles of "blue Pokemon" and "Pokemon with a shell".

Slowbro completely outclasses Blastoise at being a pokemon with a shell, though. And only unoriginal smogonfags run blue pokemon, pink is way better.
