So many people don't realize Xatu/Espeon have Magic Bounce. Seriously a Kelfki is just a free switch in for Xatu/Espeon and then Dual Screens (or whatever else you want to use them for, e.g. Calm Mind).

You're making the assumption that you're actually going to be able to attack consistently. If they're running Klefki correctly, you most likely won't.

It either gets to choose between eating a flare blitz/etc. or getting a sub up. Though, it does require a bit of guesswork to get your mon switched in, and if it already has a sub up, it's going to be painful to break through it.

It's not as impossible as you guys are making it sound, though.

Yes, they're going to wait until they have something they think it can wall. I have a few surprises on hand for such a thing (eg. my dragonite has fire punch, my rotom's turn partner is scizor, etc.).

Any cleric will wreck parafuse, as will anything with infiltrator.

That's why you always switch out when a counter comes in unless you can one shot it or have something up your sleeve, which is metagame and teambuilding. Recover is meant to be a stall move no matter if your opponent can 50% you or not while they burn to death. It doing less than 50% just guarantees him to stay alive and get a foul play in until he inevitably runs out of PP while waiting for the opponent to burn, which is what you'd probably do anyways.
