>>16257229In previous generations there was no country set to the DS console where they could get the actual language so they just got it from the language of the version you played. But now you got the games running on the 3DS where you entered your region. Check the new Pokémon file format, they got bytes for determining country and region, plus the language the game was played has an own variable. Why did they make an own variable for determining the language when you could use the region set to your 3DS instead? Right, for summary screen. And you don't really think they implemented those bytes for region only for one Pokémon named Vivillon, do you (let me add such things have neither been done for the possible Spindas, nor for Icognitos, nor for anythinig else that may have several forms)?
If this isn't proof enough: As people may or may not know, it's determined which stats are inherited from either parent even before the egg is generated in the Daycare (people call abusing this knowledge "reject method"). As in Gen 5, there are two several algorithms used for either normal or international breeding leading to one normal inheritance spread and an international one every time, you can try it out on your own. Now, use a "Japanese" (meaning only language set to Japanese) Pokémon and a Japanese one (from a Japanese via WiFi) for breeding. Guess what: They use the international inheritance spread.
