Hello /vp/.
I've been wanting to breed an Espeon with its DW ability. But before I start, I just wanted to be sure: in order to get its DW ability, do I have to evolve an Eevee with its DW ability, or would a regular Eevee work (with Espeon's DW ability randomly popping while evolving)?

you need a female eevee with anticipation (I think male's can pass the hidden ability with ditto though) breed that with something in the field egg group. eevees not carrying the hidden ability have no chance of pass it.

Yes, hidden ability eevee will evolve into hidden ability any eeveelution (if they have one). Always too.
