You can very easily get max IVs, just keep checking with the guy in Kiloude and breed the ones who have 3-4 of the IVs you want until you get one with 5+ desirable IVs. Even if you're the type who will settle for anything above 28,
However, if you're in earlier games, try hoarding Rare Candy for a while. Feed them a few, put the data in, then if it's not certain keep feeding them more and repeating the process.
Also, I'd recommend Veekun's stat calculator for this. It gives a wide range but it has a much easier to understand layout than Serebii.
