My team is nothing special. Its really halfassed and I have no idea how I managed to win a good amount of matches.

I seriously think showdown at times just pairs me up with shitty players who still uses goddamn sludge bomb and shadow ball on my Chesnaught. I really don't deserve this rank tbh but oh well.

I do see less Talonflames and Greninjas though. Maybe cause people realize there are better options or something?

Bulky prankster sableye with will-o-wisp/foul play/recover/taunt absolutely wrecks kanga since most of the time it can't get a sucker punch in and pretty much everything else doesn't affect gemhead. Works especially great on psychic+fighting runners like mewtwo or lucario since they can't touch him after a nice taunt and get wiped with SE foul play. Watch out for sweepers and fairies with him.

This is actually the main reason I still run my talonflame along with my M-Kanga. If they predict me leading with Kanga and lead with Sableye, I get the free switch into talonflame, who can usually 2HKO Sableye.

Yes, hitmonchan, as of right now, I have yet to not beat a talonflame with this glorious boxer.
Here is the build

Iron fist
Focus sash
Mach punch
Bullet punch
Close combat
Counter

It's so simple. Every single talonflame will gladly hit that stupid brave bird as soon as they see the delicious fighting type. And it's going to OHKO him for sure. Or at least, leave him at 1hp since he has a sash. Then you give him the ol' suck my fat dick with counter, landing a free kill and still having some revenge killing potential with mach and bullet.

I fucking hate the fact that Genesect wasn't quick-banned yet. It has no counters outside of Talonflame or Timid Scarf Victini and deals over 50% damage with U-turn unless the Pokemon has type advantage.

Probably not. It could tank an EQ, Hydro Pump or Power-up Punch (maybe), but it would have trouble retaliating. And even if it wiped out one, it's outsped by everything on that team.

That was mostly my mistake, I was seeing how much damage physical greninja would do to Gengar with Shadow Sneak.

It was no suprise that it couldn't OHKO, as usual. Can't really expect low stats like that with a movepool like that to really be OHKO worthy to anything but the frailest sweepers.

I've been using mega-Kangaskhan because I genuinely like it. Kanga was always one of my favorites to use in lower tiers, and parental bond seems like the ability it should have always had.

If anything, I'm surprised its used as much as it is. You'd think Gengar would be every team's go-to mega. I refuse to use that thing because it's so broken (and ugly), and I love Gengar.

If you've been swept by a Talonflame then git gud, stop using smogon cookie cutter teams, or make more intelligent teams.

How can Talonflame ever survive in a gen with such heavy focus in bulk with a pitiable attack stat like that. You seriously expect me to believe that? Greninja kills better than that thing and Greninja can't OHKO half of OU.
