This game really didn't have any endgame. The least Game Freak could've done is create an online random mode which has six Pokemon per team instead of three.

Is X/Y still worth getting? The last one I've played is Emerald and this far enough past it to be a new game. Aside from you mentioned, is there anything that general reviews would tell me that I should be aware of?

I dunno, Diamond and Pearl had that island off the mainland that was a couple routes and a legendary and stuff. It was nothing impressive, but it was at least more than nonexistent.

How? I've just beat the E4, and gone through most of the post-game shit, and I've just got over 40 hours.

Hmm let's see.

>Shiny hunting and breeding
>Restaurant battles

If you don't think there is end game, you're just a casual. The end game is CLEARLY laid out for you. This is a game with intricate breeding, building of movesets and teams and strategies. If you're too lazy to immerse yourself in team building and competitive battling, that's your problem. But don't say there is no end game, because you just come off as ignorant.

sadly they didn't, make the most of what you have OP, you're on 4chan play and battle with people here, the fact that you can challenge people while online and not going though the whole hassle of entering friendcodes like the old game is still a big step forward. Plus you challenge strangers, I accepted a few challenges.
