I'm using it to finance buying vitamins, mainly, since I still use those to make mixed EV sets a little easier to achieve (say I want to run something with 252 HP, 188 Atk, and 70 Def, I can use vitamins to achieve the 70 Def with ease and in about ten seconds and then train the other two stats in hordes very quickly and without worry)

Plus it's fun being rich as fuck. I just take it into triple battles when leveling 'mons at Le Wow and make even more money than usual. It's not like I'm going specifically out of my way.

And it's nice to have an event move. Rare, unique stuff is always cool.

you beat the e4, ONCE, with an amulet coin and you easily get 150,000 dollars. you could even use that prize money o-power if you give a fuck but to me it's just more effort than it's worth.

so if you use a happy hour smeargle maybe you get like twice as much? 300000? big fucking deal. you probably need to go through the e4 a good number of times to level up pokemon anyway and who the fuck wants to have to drag a smeargle around with them?

it takes longer to level up pokemon than it does to accumulate money. so once you have earned enough money you will still need to keep grinding to level up pokemon and then you will just be making unnecessary amounts of money that you will never spend.

i have a million dollars on my cart right now and i have never tried to accumulate money and i have nothing to spend it on.

Regardless of if it does or not, though, it's not available right now, so it's still rare and unique at the moment.
