jolteon is usable vaporeon is ridiculous.
espeon gets magic bounce and bounces back stealth rock and other entry hazards.

i opted for ninetales in place of flareon.

dragonite and ditto hilariously pick up the slack.

Best Eeveelution team (competitively) I can come up with is:
Espeon,
Vaporeon,
Sylveon,
Umbreon,
Jolteon,
and Glaceon.

Vaporeon (bulky and can keep offence), Sylveon (resists dragon, great special wall) and Espeon (great psychic type to use even outside of eeveelution teams) are the best Eeveelutions, while Jolteon and Umbreon are rarely useful. Flareon and Leafeon are just pathetic.

It's good defensive set for gen V, but if fairy types keep their place in players' teams, your Umbreon will have trouble with them, especially if it's only offensive attack in Foul Play. I don't know what kind your team is as a whole so I can't give comment on if you should use Baton Pass strategy or no.

well thanks for the advice maybe I can use dual screen Espeon to keep up Defense and S.Defense while another Pokemon uses Toxic and have Umbreon Stall it.

Pros: Type Variety. Majority of -eons have decent attack/special attack and capitalize on it, as well as most having decent special defense.

Cons: Lack of move variety, can barely learn moves outside their own type. Majority of -eons lack defense, HP, and/or speed.

So a STAB 195 BP that leaves you wide open to everything and might miss coming out of a pokemon that's supposed to take special hits easily but is frail physically instead of STAB 190 power of two Moonblasts.
Doesn't sound like a good plan.

Vaporeon's base Special Attack is more than enough to do decent damage against most sweepers. Scald is a great STAB and utility, but Ice Beam shuts down most grass and dragon types easily.
