So I decided to take on the Battle Maison again because I was running low on BP. Because I'm a cheap bastard I decided to lead with the standard SwagWave Boo Boo Keys for easy wins.

Here's a list of all the bullshit I encountered during my run.

About 5 bulky Nidoqueens
A shitload of other Ground-types
Infiltrator Noivern
Multiple stall Blisseys
Multiple bulky Umbreons
Multiple bulky/stall whatever the fuck else there is
One guy with TWO FUCKING HONCHKROWS

Like seriously holy shit, I've heard horror stories but this is far beyond reasonable limits

Also, general Battle Maison bullshit thread I guess

For shit like Umbry or Blissey, you need movwa that make the computer think you'll handle them. Swagbreon fucked me up a few time until I started running brick break on my Scizor, didn't see one for an entire 94 streak afterwards.

Two runs, both end with a motherfucker running bulky Umbreon with Confuse Ray, Moonlight and Payback. Only managed to kill that piece of cancerous shit on the first run with Metagross, the second time that shit synchronized my Lapras' Toxic back, and I was stuck in a fucking stallfest. Eeveelutions are fucking disgusting, why does Game Freak keep pandering to the faggots that love them!?

Only way to beat BM is to run pure sweepers. Pick up a team with good type coverage, and just run with it. Any other team will be countered hard by the AI.

From my experience, Trick Room teams are quite effective in the Battle Maison. And when the AI starts using very slow teams to outspeed you in Trick Room, just don't use it.

Octillery

Blissey comes out and makes excruciatingly long work of the Sharpedo via Toxic, leftovers and other stalling tactics. Out next was the Quick Claw Rhydon which used its item and one-shotted my Blissey. I respond in kind, sending out Greninja and using Surf.

And then, out came the Octtillery.

now, i have only ever hated Stantler and disdained Vanilluxe but it will be a long time before i can look at an Octillery without malice in my heart.

I open fire with Extrasensory to hit heavy and maybe cause him to flinch, he doesn't and attacks with waterfall (physical attacker Octillery?). Then the Octillery's ability kicks in; Moody. it sharply boosted Evasiveness, iwas already pissed off at this point but it doesn't end there. i attack with Dark Pulse which misses because of the recently boosted evasiveness. Octillery uses waterfall again and finishes off Greninja. Moody activates boosting physical attack sharply. I send out my last pokemon, my Aerodactyl, i figured that if i was going to have any shot of winning i needed to hit decently but what i needed was Accuracy, so i mega evolved and went for Sky Drop.

It survived the Sky drop with what i could only assume was single digit HP. and then one-shotted My Mega Aerodactyl. I saved the record due to just how angry i was and needed to be able to show my brother the epitome of bullshit that was that fight.

So the maison learns your team and tactics and trys to destroy it?

I have yet to try it myself since I'm still on the main campaign but why not try using completely and totally teams each time you attempt to throw the ai off? Or better yet make a team then a team to counter the ais counter and so on and do forth?

From what I can see, when the tally is getting higher, the opposition will conveniently have moves that deal with your Pokemon?

Or moves first and uses flinch-inducing moves.

Doesn't even matter if it's 100% accuracy, because then shit will hold convenient-miss-inducing-Brightpowder to fuck your shit up anyways.
It's happened one before, I've missed Foul Plays without any kind of accuracy/evasion modifiers.

Of course that happens too. But you want to reduce the luck-factor as much as possible and therefore I strongly suggest only using 100% accuracy move and 85+ only when needed (I have a 90 wins streak atm and the only non100% accuracy move I use is at 90, and it's the one I use the least).

In my case, I was using some Round-based BS in Super Triples and I encountered every single fully evolved pokemon that could have Soundproof, as well as some opposing pokemon with Round themselves.

They also started using a lot of Steel, Water, Fire, and Poison types to wall my strategy. Empoleon was a big pain in the ass.
